Butter Knife
This butter knife is handcrafted, making the most of brass and rosewood.
The brass part is carefully crafted from casting to polishing and finishing, and the rosewood handle is carved from a single piece of wood, shaped to fit comfortably in the hand.
The knife part was designed with inspiration from trowels used by plasterers and palette knives used for paint.
We have incorporated the functional beauty and elegant form of tools into an item to be used at the daily dining table.
Each piece is carefully polished so that it can smoothly spread not only butter, but also cream cheese and jam.
As brass is used, its color deepens over time, and the rosewood also becomes more comfortable in the hand and develops a beautiful sheen.
Ten, even twenty years from now.
We hope it will be an item that grows more cherished with time and continues to be a part of your daily life.
That's the feeling we put into making it.
While being a tool for the daily dining table, it's also something you'll want to display and admire.
