About the Work
The bowl of the fork has an organic form reminiscent of a leaf.
Its asymmetrical, natural curves reflect the beauty of plants and feel comfortably familiar in the hand.
This piece, "Hana," carries on the form of the Hakuro series while featuring the smooth luster of nickel silver and decorative brass accents at the base of the handle.
At the junction where the different metals meet, we have added a soft swelling that resembles a small flower in bloom.
By keeping the ornamentation understated, the piece highlights the beauty of the materials themselves and the delicacy of the craftsmanship.
The quiet sheen of nickel silver and the warm color of brass.
Harmonizing these metals with their distinct expressions creates an elegant and dignified presence.
Another charm of this piece is how it changes with use, deepening in character over time.
You can enjoy it as a tool that accompanies your dessert time, or simply as an object to display and admire.
Each piece is finished by hand, making it truly one of a kind.
