Hakuro Spoon
Like morning dew resting on a leaf.
A single drop of moisture reflecting light in the quiet morning.
This piece was born from the image of its transparency and soft presence.
The scooping part has an organic form reminiscent of a leaf.
The natural, asymmetrical curves reflect the beauty of plants and feel comfortable in your hand.
At the boundary where wood and metal meet, there's a soft swelling, like a small flower in bloom.
This design was born from the desire to "express not just the metal, but also its connection to the wood."
Embracing that idea, the artist's sensibility has shaped the overall form.
The gentle gleam unique to nickel silver and the deep wood grain of black walnut.
As you use it, the nickel silver will develop a subtle sheen, and the black walnut will slowly deepen in color.
The charm of this piece also lies in how it changes over time, evolving into a unique item for its owner.
It is created as "art for use," to be enjoyed for dessert, yogurt, seasonal fruits, and also as an ornamental object to display and admire.
